Christian Henderson was 19 when he and 16-year-old Savanah Wilson decided to lure 23-year-old Luke Macke from the Westwood neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio, in June 2021 so they could rob him.
Things went south, and when the smoke cleared, Macke was dead.
Henderson and Wilson were arrested soon after the crime, but the legal process wasn’t smooth.
Wilson delayed the process by firing the attorney before deciding to represent himself.
Near the end of his first trial, he was found in his cell suffering from self-inflicted wounds. He claimed he couldn’t remember anything, and the judge declared a mistrial.
His second trial started in the summer of 2025, and Wilson was the star witness.
Henderson was convicted of murder, aggravated murder, robbery, and aggravated robbery.
Expected to be released on July 18th, 2035.
The now 23-year-old was sentenced to 44 years to life in prison.
Wilson, on the other hand, pled guilty to involuntary manslaughter, aggravated robbery, and robbery on September 17th, 2025. She was sentenced to 14 years in prison. She could be back on the streets when she is 31.
