Murder of Daniel Shrewsbury
On July 7th, 2024, 17-year-old Adiah Roberson, 27-year-old Joshua Joseph, and another woman went to a Sonic Restaurant in San Antonio, Texas, to get food.
Roberson attempted to pay for the food with counterfeited money, but the manager, 33-year-old Daniel Shrewsbury, noticed it was fake. The trio paid in cash, and Roberson stole the tip jar before leaving.
Shrewsbury exited the restaurant and attempted to take a picture of the trio’s vehicle. Joseph allegedly threatened to beat up or shoot Shrewsbury.

Moments later, Roberson hopped out of the car with a gun and shot Shrewsbury. She got back in the car, and the trio fled the scene. Shrewsbury died from the shooting.
On August 16th, 2024, authorities caught up with Joseph and charged him with murder, but his charges were later dropped.
Roberson disappeared and was added to Texas’s 10 Most Wanted Fugitive list.
U.S. Marshals arrested her in Dallas, Texas, on October 22nd, 2024. She was sent back to San Antonio to face charges of murder and forgery of a government document.
The third woman was not charged.
