Robert Howse Terrorizes Ohio Residents
Robert Howse was sent to prison for five and a half years in March 2013 after being convicted of burglary and aggravated robbery.
When he got out, he was 24 years old and went back to his old ways. He snuck into an elderly woman’s bedroom at around midnight on September 13, 2018.
When she entered her room, he jumped out and pointed a gun at her, but she screamed and then ran to the bathroom, locked the door, and hid.

The next night, at around 8:30 pm, he was in Gates Mills, Ohio.
Former NFL player Joe Jurevicius, who once played for the Cleveland Browns and three other teams, saw a light on in his barn, which had been converted into a living area.
When Jurevicius went into the barn to turn off the lights, Howse jumped out with a gun and demanded money. He noticed that there was a safe in the barn.
He forced Jurevicius to open it, then he made him lie on the ground.
Howse rummages through the safe and puts a gun, alcohol, headphones, and a camera in a leather handbag.
Howse wanted more and asked the ex-NFL star where the money was. Jurevicius said the money was in the home.
At gunpoint, Jurevicius was forced to walk to the main house, but because his wife and kids were inside, he told Howse, “he wasn’t getting in the fucking house.”
Jurevicius opened the door slightly and told his wife to get all the money she could find and bring it to him. She followed his instructions and handed him the money, which he gave to Howse.
At that point, the wife realized they were being robbed, and she called 911.
When Howse got distracted by putting the money in the leather handbag, Jurevicius was able to run inside the home and lock the door behind him.
Arrest, Guilty Plea, and Sentencing
Howse was busted soon after the crime thanks to a GPS ankle monitor.
He was hit with a slew of charges, including aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, and kidnapping.
He accepted a plea deal on eleven counts in January 2019. When he agreed to the deal, he told the judge he understood the possible maximum sentence for each count.
When he returned to court for sentencing, Jurevicius addressed the court and asked the judge to impose the maximum sentence. Howse, on the other hand, asked for leniency.

When the judge handed down the sentence, Howse couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He began to shake his head and cry. Eventually, he resorted to swearing, calling the sentence “bullshit.” Deputy’s feared he was about to act up, so they snatched him up dragged him out of the courtroom.
He received a 43-year sentence. Now 30 years old, he is expected to be released in February 2064.
Despite being a violent felon, Howse is still trying to find love. In a prison relationship Facebook post, he described himself as “somebody worth getting to know” and having a “zero tolerance for disloyalty, disrespect, and a liar.”
