Crimes
Once again, she didn’t learn her lesson from her previous bouts of incarceration and continued to commit crimes, even though she was on probation. In July 2011, she was arrested in Texas along with 20-year-old Jeremy Jomard Goudeau and 28-year-old Keyron Elmore. It’s unclear what the relationship is between Jeremy and Donna.
According to the Beaumontenterprise, the trio forced their way into the room of a 73-year-old man at the Driftwood Inn in Port Arthur, Texas, during a robbery attempt.
They beat him, sprayed him with a fire extinguisher, and stabbed him.

They took his debit card and forced him to give up his PIN. One person stayed behind to keep an eye on the elderly victim, while the other two went to a nearby ATM to withdraw some cash.
They quickly discovered the PIN was incorrect. The two at the ATM contacted the person who was with the victim, and that person inflicted more violence until they got the correct one.
When it was all said and done, they got away with some valuables, his 2004 Chevy extended cab pickup truck, and cash.
The trio was arrested the same day and had the man’s belongings with them.
Days later, as police were transporting the then 25-year old Donna and her two accomplices, local news reports were waiting and started asking questions. A season criminal like Donna should have kept her mouth shut, but instead she spoke out and claimed she was innocent. She said she was accused of being a getaway driver but that wasn’t possible, because she was “legally blind.”
That made the interview hilarious, but it got even more hilarious when she shouted, “P.O.P. hold it down.” The clip flew under the radar for three years before going viral in 2014.
Legal Proceedings
As hilarious as the interview was, the trio’s crimes were no laughing matter. A man was hurt and traumatized, and the perpetrators were all facing life in prison. Rather than take the risk at trial, all three pleaded guilty to lessen their punishments.
According to 12newsnow Jeremy received a 50-year sentence. He is locked up at the John B. Connally Unit in Karnes County, Texas. The unit holds about 2,200 inmates. He will be eligible for parole on July 19th, 2036, when he is 45 years old.
Elmore was sentenced to 60 years in prison. He is not listed with the Texas Department of Corrections, so his current whereabouts are unclear. He could be dead, released, or listed under a different name.
Donna was sentenced to 18 years in prison for the charge of aggravated battery on February 21st, 2012.
Aftermath
Over the years, there have been many reports claiming she was dead, but those have been proven to be false. At one point, she even did an interview from behind bars.
Even though she received 18 years, she only had to serve half of her sentence. She has been eligible for parole since July 2020, but her parole has been denied several times.
She remains incarcerated at the Lane Murray Unit in Gatesville, Texas. She is up for parole again in November 2026, and as of October 1st, 2026, she is going through the parole review process. Her file will be reviewed along with letters for and against her release.
She will be interviewed, and her file will be reviewed. A case summary will then be given to the Board voting panel. They will vote on where she should get out or stay locked up.
