John Edward Robinson
When he was young, John Edward Robinson thought about becoming a priest. As an adult, he turned to a life of crime. In 1969, the 26-year-old embezzled 300,000 dollars from a doctor. He embezzled money from another business in 1971 and, in 1975, got into trouble for securities and mail fraud.
He escalated from fraud to murder in 1984. He hired 19-year-old Paula Guylene Goddrey to work for his consulting firm. He picked her up on September 1st, 1984. He was supposed to take her to the airport for a clerical skills course in San Antonio. However, she was never seen again.
In 1985, he met 19-year-old Lisa Stasi. The teen had a four-month-old named Tiffany. Lisa & Tiffany left her sister’s place and got into a car with John on January 10th, 1985. Lisa was never seen again.
Soon after she went missing, John contacted his brother and sister-in-law and told them he knew a woman had deleted herself and left behind a baby they could adopt for $5,500 in legal fees. Soon, they had a new baby with authentic-looking adoption papers.
Over the next 14 years, six more women who had dealt with Robinson disappeared.
In June 2020, He was arrested, and his farm was searched after a woman accused Robinson of violating her.
21-year-old Izabela Lewicka and 27-year-old Suzette Trouten were found in drums on the property.
As the investigation progressed, authorities learned about the baby John handed over to his brother and sister-in-law in the 80s. DNA tests confirmed that the girl was the daughter of Lisa Stassi.
