In 2000 Katherine Mary Knight was seeing 44 year old John Price but the relationship was not going well.

Price had reported Knight to the police to put out a protective order against her.

Knight was enraged and started plotting his demise. She bought new lingerie so she could seduce him. When she got to his home on February 29, 2000 she hid knives in his bedroom.

The two were intimate, but afterward things took a dark turn. She grabbed a knife and stabbed Price dozens of times.

He escaped the home, but Knight dragged him back inside and finished the job.

The former slaughterhouse worker skinned his body, cooked him, and made plates of food that she planned to serve to his kids, who were away at the time.

Police entered the home the next day after Price didn’t show up for work. Knight tried to delete herself but she survived.

She pleaded guilty to murder in October 2001. She was sentenced to life without parole on November 9, 2001, and became the first Australian woman given life without parole.
