50-year-old Kelley Mosley was a behavior counselor for the Franklin County School district in Tallahassee, Florida. At some point, she began grooming a student between the ages of 13 and 17, and the relationship became physical.
After several complaints and allegations in April 2021, she was fired from her job. However, the victim refused to cooperate, and there was insufficient evidence to make an arrest.
Mosley continued messing with the teen even after she lost her job. In September 2021, she contacted a former coworker and admitted to the relationship, telling them she planned to turn herself in.
She went to law enforcement and confessed to multiple encounters at multiple locations. She also admitted to sending the juvenile inappropriate photos of herself.
The victim was interviewed again and confirmed what Mosley had told the investigators.
She was convicted of two counts of lewd and lascivious battery on a minor. She was sentenced to 7 years in prison on April 4th, 2023. She will be released on January 2nd, 2029.
