Megan Huntsman married Darren West when she was 18 years old in 1993.
In 2014 West had just got out of prison after 8 year and he was cleaning out the garage with family members. His youngest daughter found a deceased baby wrapped in plastic.
Authorities were called and the took the mother of three Huntsman in for questioning. She claimed she gave birth after her husband went to jail and the child was stillborn.
Eventually authorities located 6 more deceased babies. Huntsman eventually confessed to taking the lives of all the children except for one. She revealed they were born between 1996 and 2006 and her husband was the father of all 7.
She claimed she didn’t think she could be a good mother to the children.
Police looked at her husband wondering if he was involved but he had know idea she was pregnant that many times. He was not charged.
Huntsman pleaded guilty to 6 counts of felony murder on February 12, 2015. On April 20th, 2015 she was sentenced to 3 concurrent 5 to life sentenced and 3 consecutive 5 to life sentences..
She also expressed that she preferred to spend money on her addiction rather than the children.
