Alleged crime

A 5-year-old girl found her parents, James Brock, 45 and Kristin Brock, 41, shot inside their Carrollton, Georgia home back on February 20th, 2025.

The little girl told her 16-year-old half-sister, Sarah Grace Patrick, about what she had seen, and Sarah called 911 to report her mother and stepfather were hurt.

When authorities arrived, they pronounced the couple dead from multiple. They began canvassing the area, gathering doorbell footage, and speaking with neighbors.

Social media

On March 1st, Sarah started a TikTok page with videos and photos grieving the death of her mother and stepdad, saying how much she missed them.

Not only that, she reached out to an account called Allegedllyreportedly and asked the creator behind that account to cover the case.

The woman agreed and posted a video about the case days later. Sarah posted a comment thanking her for covering the case. She also interacted with some of the viewers leaving comments.

Arrest

As the investigation unfolded, all of the physical evidence, digital evidence, and interviews pointed to Sarah being the culprit, according to police. There was no force entry and they found it out that Sarah did not hear multiple gunshots being fired in such a small home. They also found it odd she did not hear James L-VAD alarm going off.

Police put out warrants for her arrest in July, and her father took her to the police station on July 8th so she could turned herself in. She was charged as an adult, facing two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated assault.

At the time detective say the were still working on the case to see if any of her family members were involved or helped her cover up her alleged crime. 

Sarah’s Father Speaks Out

Her father, Doniel Patrick posted a statement on his Facebook page on July 16th complaining about the way the media is portraying his daughter and how people are jumping to conclusions with no information.

He did an interview with Law & Crime Network that aired on July 21, 2025 in which he proclaimed his daughters innocence. He also claimed that the Brock’s were involved in small scale drug dealing which may have lead to their demise.

Bond hearing

Sarah had a bond hearing on June 27th, 2025, and prosecutors hit her with two counts of malice murder and two gun charges.

At the hearing, many people supported her being let out. Several people wore”I Stand with Sarah” shirts.

One friend took the stand, saying she is “not the evil person the Brock family is making her out to be.”

On the other side, one member of the Brock family spoke of fearing “for my own safety of my family and friend.”

When it was all said and done, the judge denied bond and ordered Sarah to be held in jail until trial. Her trial date was set for January 5th, 2026.

When January 5th, 2026, arrived, the trial was pushed back to August 3rd, 2026. When August 3rd arrived, the trial was delayed but as of September 8th, 2026, the new trial date has not been announced.
