On April 12th, 1988, she decided to end the marriage, not with a divorce, but with a bullet to Coville’s head.

Once he was dead, she cut him up, put him in bags, and threw them in an incinerator. Coville’s mom tried to reach out to her son and Limm for months but never heard back. One day, she called, and their phone was disconnected; that’s when she contacted the Sitka, Alaska, police.

Authorities didn’t know where Limm or Coville were, and the case went cold.

In 2007, investigators learned that Limm told her second husband that she killed Coville. They reopened the case and recorded conversations in which Limm spoke with her second husband and implicated herself.

The evidence started to pile up, so she confessed to what she had done. She pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in November 2010. She was sentenced to 36 years in prison on March 3rd, 2011.

She could be out in 24 years with good behavior.
