In 2005, Stacey Castor started poisoning her second husband, David Castor, with antifreeze.

When the time was right she staged the scene to make it look like he ended his own life, then she called authorities.

When police determined his prints weren’t on the glass of antifreeze and her’s were, she became a suspect.

They exhumed her first husband, Michael Wallace, who died in 2000, and they found antifreeze in his system.

Stacey knew they were on to her, so she tried to frame her oldest daughter, Ashley.

She insisted the 19-year-old have a drink with her, something she had never done before.

Unbeknownst to Ashley, the drinks were laced with painkillers.

Less than a day later, Stacey’s other daughter, Bree, found Ashley unconscious in bed.

Stacey called 911. When Bree left the room, Stacey placed a note nearby with Ashley’s name on it, confessing to killing her father and stepfather.

Unfortunately for Stacey, Ashley survived.

She told police she had not written the letter and pointed her finger at her mother.

Stacey was arrested and on February 5, 2009, convicted of the death of her second husband and for trying to kill Ashley. She was sentenced to 51 years to life in prison on March 5, 2009.

She was never tried for her first husband’s death.

On June 11th, 2016, while locked up in Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women, she died at the age of 48.
